De Vivaldi One APEX is een krachtige netwerkspeler en CD/SACD speler. Hij biedt dezelfde kerntechnologieën als de wereldwijd vermaarde dCS Vivaldi-serie, waaronder de nieuwste generatie dCS Ring DAC en het dCS Digital Processing Platform, evenals het door henzelf ontwikkeld kloksysteem.

De Vivaldi One APEX ondersteunt alle belangrijke “lossless codecs”, waaronder MQA, en is compatibel met een breed scala aan streamingdiensten en muziekbeheerplatforms, waaronder Roon, TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, internetradio en Spotify. Hij ondersteunt ook streaming via Apple AirPlay, TIDAL Connect en Spotify Connect.

Voor liefhebbers van traditionele zilveren schijfjes zorgt het onnavolgbaar fraaie Esoteric VMK3 VRDS-Neo CD/SACD-mechanisme dat ieder detail op zowel standaard- als SACD cd’s kan worden weergegeven. Een scala aan digitale ingangen met DXD-oversampling en optionele DSD64- of DSD128-upsampling, en door de gebruiker te selecteren DSP- en DSD-filters, bieden ongeëvenaarde flexibiliteit.

De functionaliteit van de Vivaldi One APEX is gebaseerd op flexibele firmware, die eenvoudig kan worden bijgewerkt voor nieuwe functies en verbeteringen. Een aluminium chassis van ruimtevaartkwaliteit vermindert mechanische trillingen en magnetische effecten voor verbeterde audioprestaties, terwijl aparte voedingen voor digitale en analoge secties zorgen voor maximale prestaties en betrouwbaarheid.
