The JEM from Blue Pearl Audio was the brainchild of the very gifted UK based designer and engineer Martin Easton. Only a few were manufactured, one of which was reviewed by Roy Gregory of Hifi+ and considered together with the Rockport Sirius among the very best turntables ever designed and built. The magnetic bearing, motor and controller were all designed to achieve the very best sound and used the very best parts available in the market place.

The designer himself stated on whatsbest forum: “..we made one for a client in the Netherlands which I am envious of, as to me it was the best one we ever made.”

Now this specific unit from this previous Dutch owner has become available. Newprice in euro was 72.000 euro, now it is available for 16.500 euro.
