The ProJect 6 Perspex is an excellent turntable with some interesting ideas built in. It is a suspended turntable with subchassis made of Corian, a material which ProJect claims has ‘no resonances at all’. It is supported on a rather stiff suspension which rely on magnetic force rather than springs.

The installed 9CC carbon tonearm fitted to this deck is something of a beauty. It’s made of carbon fibre composite material and is conical, which helps reduce resonance.
