The Directstream is an highend DSD DAC with 7 digital inputs. But above all this unit is, due to the installed Bridge II network board, an excellent music streamer with a great integrated preamp. With the Bridge II board the Directsream is also Roon Ready. This unit has been factory supplied as a Directstream and is therefore not an upgrade from an older PerfectWave.
