The Frankie is an excellent sounding class AB integrated amplifier from the Italian manufacturer Serblin & Son. Designed by Fabio Serblin (the nephew of the famous Franco Serblin, founder of Sonus Faber). The Frankie has a beautiful analogue volume control that uses a series of 127 individual resistors, a beautiful solution that is normally only used in much more expensive amplifiers.
This Plus version has an integrated DAC with a streaming function. In addition, the Frankie also has a phono MM/MC preamp on board, which has easily adjustable settings on the back of the unit.
Including the original box, remote and manual. Newprice: 3.250 euro, now available for 1.990 euro.
